School can be a scary place. Think back. Whate scared you? Was it the fact that you were alone, whereas everyone else was in a group? Or maybe everyone else could obviuously fight and were "tough"... but you weren't. Or perhaps everyone else was getting good grades, but you weren't doing so well.

Sadly, it's common for kids to feel a sense of fear in their schools.

Welcome to the Safe Schools Coalition, Inc. (SSC) Web Site. We are a nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to helping our colleges and schools to be safe, healthy, and humane places in which to live and work.
